peace 2010, hello 2011 :)

For that past few years I've posted a blog with expectations for the new year and my favorite things from the year that just ended. Last year I didn't have access to a computer because I was in Colombia, so it's in my journal.

2010
  • Travel to Haiti.
  • Finish my time in Colombia, strong.
  • Internship with Awana.
  • Survive living in Chicago.
  • Get the FCS job after YWAM.
2010 was one of the greatest years. I made incredible friends, did incredible things and served an incredible God. I'm excited to see what 2011 has in store.

2011
  • Help to successfully kick-off a new ministry called 'unashamed'. More info tba :)
  • Give my all in school and finish early.
  • Do my best to work in ministry in the States as I work to get to Haiti.
  • Begin a Saturday morning Bible study with girls that I believe Jesus is going to use in a huge way.
  • Learn to sew skirts for girls in Haiti.

I feel that the most important step in any major accomplishment is setting a specific goal. This enables you to keep your mind focused on your goal and off the many obstacles that will arise when you’re striving to do your best.
