Flood November 2014

The first week of November the rains came.  It rained, and it rained, and it rained.  We'd never seen anything like it.  Here are some pictures of the day we decided to get out and check on some of our micro loans.

This was day one of the rains. By the evening of this same day the water was up to our waists!

Can you see the women between the two houses?  Frantzy found someone who knew the alleys and he jumped in to go save them.  At once point my husband (who can't swim!) was walking through water that was over his head. When he couldn't handle it anymore he found a staircase and stood on top so he could see the women.
