we're obsessed with .59 cones from McDonalds and have no idea what we'll do with ourselves when we get back to Haiti and can't get one!!!
we had the opportunity to help host a team of middle schoolers from Alabama. they were a blast and had a huge desire to be used by the Lord in any way to be a blessing to the Haitian people! They spent 3 days bagging candy, gum, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste for the Christmas Bags project this year!
they were a BLAST!
surprised my dad with two feeder pigs for Father's Day!
Frantzy's first trip to the arcade was a success!
Being home has been a huge blessing. I've spoken at a church almost every weekend, it's been a blast to meet and share Haiti with new people! It's incredible being able to sit in church and worship Jesus in my heart language, staying up late with my mom and catching up on television shows & talking about life, spending a ridiculous amount of time with cousins and grandparents, go on double dates with the little brother, and chicken nugget runs with dad. God is good and I'm so blessed that He allows us to take a break sometime and get our batteries re-charged so that we can better serve Him when we go back.
We have about a month left. It's busy with packing and last minute shopping, my little brother is heading to the Ukraine for two weeks (please be in prayer for him! this is going to be an amazing trip!), and my dad is competing in the truck driving championship again (please pray for a good outcome in that too!).
Thanks for all of the sweet notes, the speaking engagements, prayers, and support. You are all amazing.
Please keep Ben in your prayers as he heads to Ukraine. I'm awestruck at his desire to be used by Jesus and I cannot wait to see what God does in his life during the 2 weeks he's over there. He's going with his girlfriends entire family. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers. Seriously, as I watched the financial and prayer support come in for this trip I couldn't help but know in my heart that God's going to do something huge!
