Cap-Haitien :)

This will be a super quick update...the hard drive on my Mac went out, so I'm currently computer-less.  Unfortunately, Haiti doesn't have an Apple store I can swing by to get it fixed!  For now I'm using friends and staff computers until I figure out what to do.  I'll try to keep the updates coming, but I can't promise any pictures after this!  This week we have a ministry team coming to minister to our staff.  Please be praying that it's a time of encouragement!  

Last weekend my roommate and I traveled up to Cap Haitien for Ruben's wedding!  It was amazing!  My good friend Emmaul surprised us in St Marc and about 14 of us piled into this pick-up truck and began the 4 hour journey north.

The drive was beautiful and the guys that we drove with were hysterical.  There is no way I'll ever want to fly up to Cap, the drive is a blast!  

Dirt roads, huge craters, up and down mountains...the more experiences like this I have, the happier I am to be living this life.  What an adventure!  I wouldn't trade it for anything.  I love Haiti!

The wedding was beautiful!  I love Ruben and Phanie and I was so blessed to get to witness their Big Day!  I know God's going to use the two of them to do incredible things in Haiti!

It was awesome reconnecting with pastor friends from the States, Haitian friends that I haven't seen in years, and honestly being in Cap Haitien made my heart so happy.  I knew as soon as we crossed into Cap because my heart literally jumped for joy!  Seeing my kids at EBAC was the most incredible feeling.  It had been so long, but when we were hugging it felt like I hadn't ever left.  I'm already looking forward to the next time these kiddos are in my arms.
