bonjour 2012 :)

2011 was an outstanding year.  God worked in amazing ways, and He taught me lessons that I'll never forget.

  • i was able to work with our youth group at church.  i made friendships that i think will last a lifetime.  the students impacted me in ways that i can't even explain.
  • God opened the door for me to spend the summer in pittsburgh.  i went there for one reason, and He completely changed my heart and i made amazing friendships and got to be a small part of an incredible children's program.
  • in may i was re-united with my ywam family in denver.  talk about a crazy, encouraging time ;)
  • my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer in september, and by december he had it beat!
  • i spent so much valuable time with my family.
  • two great semesters of college where i was able to raise awareness for children in third-world countries who are starving, working in sweatshops, and are held captive as slaves.
  • i got to take two road trips with my little brother.  he's growing into an incredible man of God, and i'm so excited to be closer to him.
  • i had the honor of being a part of the unashamed youth rally, where God allowed me to be a part of leading 3 of His children to Him.  6 students were saved that night, many peoples eyes were opened to the injustice of sex slavery and trafficking, and many students committed to serve Jesus.  to say it was an incredible night would be a huge understatement.
  • found out i was moving to haiti & God raised my support in exactly two weeks.
There is so much more that happened this year.  God is so good and I'm so blessed to be a teeny tiny part of His huge plan for this world.

As for 2012...well, I'm moving to Haiti.  I have no idea what God has in store for my time there.  I'm completely open to anything He throws my way. :)

Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!

      God, I'll never comprehend them!

I couldn't even begin to count them—
any more than I could count the sand of the sea.
Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!
