the end of internship.

This is my last week as an intern for Awana. It's bittersweet. I'm bummed that my summer went so fast, and that it's time to move on to something else. But I'm so excited for what God's going to use me for next.
This is the first time in awhile that I don't know exactly what I'm doing next. And next is here! After high school I had ywam, after ywam was my job at fcs, after that it was the internship, and now, I'm just waiting...patiently waiting. In the past couple of weeks the Lord has opened some huge doors, working with Haitian church, new opportunities in Chicago, school, etc. And He has closed some doors, for example, I quit my job at Family Christian. I just felt I needed to step out in faith and do it. It wasn't totally spontaneous, I was praying a few weeks ago, and felt I needed to do it. I did it, not only because I am certain that my time there was finished, but to put total faith in Christ, knowing that He is going to provide my next step. He has already started, I'm just waiting for everything to be ironed out..and then I will blog and share about this exciting new adventure! :)
to sum my internship up...My view of ministry is totally changed. for the better. Shot finger rockets across the Indy convention center. Studied the master plan of evangelism. Helped launch a $1.6 million AI project. Witnessed a starting pistol shot in an executives office. Cut out 398751546 ornaments. Packed food at 'feed my starving children'. With a gps, chicago traffic is cake. Left my blackberry on a metra. I saw the Lord provide in ways I never expected. Willowcreek is an outstanding place to worship. Helped with a video shoot for China leaders. Sent out over 2,000 newsletters in 2 days. Helped run an event with 24 college students. Ran around chicago for a day with 24 students. Had lunch with more people than i can count. Helped plan a Korean trip to Chicago. Accidentally met Carol Kent. Traveled to Indy and worked a convention. Encouraged an entire organization to fast and pray for a day. Had deep theological conversations. Went on bike rides down by the river. Made new friends at the library. Went to haitian church. Planned a dinner at Navy Pier. Grew in my walk with the Lord. The list is endless. God once again, rocked my life(:
