As of right now I have watched the video mom and I made of our trip to Haiti 4 times in a row, I'm on my 5th time now. I miss it so much! I wish I was there right now! I have been trying to do whatever I can here in the states to help out with the Christmas Bags for Haiti project. But it doesn't seem like anything compared to what I would be helping with if I was in Haiti!! I'm going to be back very soon, I just know it:)
I've been pretty busy lately I guess, graduation is in 4 months.YEAH! So we have kind of been getting ready for that, I'm graduating with Deborah and Brad, and we are disagreeing a little bit on graduation colors...Brad and I want to have a "John Deere" graduation with the cap and gown and everything. Deborah isn't liking that idea too much, but I'm not giving up just yet:)
I applied to YWAM Denver, and I got an email from the "registrar" today saying that they recieved my application and they would be in touch! I'm so excited and nervous!! I want to get into YWAM soo bad! Here is the plan if I make it...School starts in Denver on October5,2009 and I will have 12 weeks of very intense Bible training, then I will have a 7 week over seas mission trip and come back for a week and for a debriefing time and then graduate from the Discipleship Training School on February 19,2010. After I graduate from the DTS I can apply to the College of the Nations and get my degree! I still haven't quite figured out what degree I'm supposed to get,if I'm even supposed to get one. I would love to get one in Global Missions and Deaf Ministry, but it doesn't really matter to me, as long as I am doing what Christ wants me to do. I'm trying not to get my hopes up for YWAM...obviously...haha...but I know that if it's God's Will for my life I will make it. I honestly can say that I don't care where I am as long as I am where He wants me. I am soo willing, all He needs to do is tell me where to be.
So that's pretty much what's going on here, 4-H stuff has already started up again...and I am being FORCED to compete for the 2009 Putnam County Fair Queen...ughh.
It looks like I will be done with my senior year by the end of March...if I stick with my schedule:)
I'm looking for a job,to help pay for college in the fall.Dad got voted in as a deacon at church on Sunday night! And we voted in a youth pastor back a few weeks ago!! Which is a HUGE answer to prayer. That's all I can think of for now:)
