We were able to train 13 pastors on the Awana curriculum during the Train the Trainer in St Georges, Haiti. They were such a blast, we laughed more than anything! I'm pretty sure the following pictures tell enough :)
We hosted the TTT on Friday and Saturday, Sunday these pastors went and preached at their churches, and Monday-Wednesday they were with us training 38 churches everything they had just learned a couple of days before! They totally owned their sessions. It was a blessing to see busy pastors take time out of their week to train men and women on children's ministry!
Frantzy translated the materials that we are using in Haiti. So cool for him to see all of his hard work paying off!
We also hosted a Seed Planters Conference in Gonaives the day after St Georges finished. We have so many stories about the trip from southern Haiti to Gonaives. Long story short, there were road blocks, the Haitians began chasing us with guns and rocks, we drove over burning tires, and God was so so so there. Many of the cars that were behind us had been stopped. Tires slashed, the cars destroyed and people robbed. We are amazed every single day at the Lord's protection! We are so blessed and He is so faithful!
In all, 101 churches were trained! We are excited to hear how many churches are able to start their clubs and how many children will be reached!
