May 3, 2014 Edner and Diane tied the knot! It was a beautiful wedding! We provided the supplies and left it up to the Haitians to decorate. They used everything from fishing wire to toilet paper and by the time it was all said and done, the church was beautiful! We had the ceremony at the chapel at the IDADEE orphanage which is in the same community Edner grew up in. It was incredible to see how everyone pitched in to make the day such a success! The first week after the wedding Edner and Diane were so flashy with their rings! ;) Anytime someone would talk to them they would make sure their hand was over their mouth so we allllll could see they were married! A big shout out to the Reilly family for donating Edner's ring and Jenni V. for donating Diane's!
Ricard and Noufie "listening" to Frantzy's decorating advice :)
Marose and her fiance decorated the cake. They're getting married in July!
(The morning of the wedding I got up early to start baking the cakes. All 18 of the eggs that had been purchased the day before were spoiled! It was a terrible - a stinky! - way to start the morning!)
Diane's father isn't living. Frantzy was so excited to get to walk her down the isle! I LOVE this picture! :)
The giving of the bride! I am so bummed the decorations got in the way of Edner's face! It was such a sweet moment!
LOVE this picture!
I just love that their daughter walked right up in the middle of the ceremony to sit with mama! So sweet!
Vows!
First kiss!
Right after the kiss! I love their expressions!
SO happy! :)

Love this couple!
Family photo (I'm convinced Haitian people are the HARDEST to get to smile, pose, or actually look at the camera!)
Wedding party.
I died a little bit when this happened. Awkward Haitian poses. I'm so sorry we didn't strike this pose at our wedding ;)
LOVE this dress! A huge thanks to Donna Christian at Donna's Dress Design for the donation!

Ricard was supposed to be getting married the same day. A group wedding was planned. At the rehearsal the day before his mom called off the wedding, she was the ultimate monster in law. He has the sweetest heart and spent his entire day decorating and cleaning up for the wedding anyway! We are planning a wedding for him and his fiance in July and he's decided that if his family decides not to support them, his fellow micro loan family will be there! Please pray for him and his fiance Geralda. They aren't christians, but we have had some really great conversations with them and they are so close!
Thanks so much to everyone who donated supplies and prayed for this wedding! We have two more wedding happening in July! God is at work and we are so excited to be a part of what He's up to in each of these couple's lives!
