One day while sitting at a friends house Madan Wilsone came up onto the porch with a tub on her head full of old clothes she was trying to sell. We got to talking to her about the Lord and her business, she explained to us that she walks for miles every day and sometimes doesn't sell anything. Before she left we got her phone number and asked her if she prayed. She smiled and said she did and was on her way. A couple of days later we called her and asked her to come and meet us at the same friends house. We gave her a black garbage bag full of clothes and a micro loan. She was SO excited! This is one of my favorite things to do, bless people. We don't have to know them, we don't have to know their story, just bless them. It can be anything, tonight we took two girls out for ice cream and gave their tired momma a break, we blessed her! And the cool thing is, we are the ones who feel like we get the biggest blessing! There is opportunity every where, not just here in Haiti! I challenge you to spend the entire day looking for ways you can bless people (in big or small ways) and see how you feel at the end of the day. It'll become an addiction for sure.
Please pray with us for Nadia and Madan Wilsone. That God would continue to bless their business and keep them encouraged.
