distributions

While we were home in Indiana this past May, we helped my family and Stan load a 40' container to send to Haiti. I love doing this! It's such a sweet time with my family, all of us working together for Jesus!  Granted, it's crazy stressful...but it's TOTALLY worth it!  The last 10 days here in Haiti have been spent going through our boxes and distributing the items.  We had to store our boxes in a warehouse here in Haiti until we came back.  Let me tell you, the rats had a hay day in our stuff!  We've killed a few babies...and have yet to find parents. Praying they're still in the warehouse! :). Here are some pics of the distribution! I am SO SO SO blessed to have a family who works year round with donations in the States. Seriously, my family is amazing!  So much blood, sweat, and tears from all of them to get items here!  I am so blessed!

Frantzy's praising The Lord that the rats left his tortillas alone! It was a miracle! :)

Reginald is such a trooper when it comes to only having a small spot in the car to sit because of all of the boxes!

All of these items were bought in country with donation money.  But we've been able to take many boxes of toys and medicine to them since. I love the smiles!

This is Adda. He has an amazing story. He was deathly ill in March and April. The woman in charge of his orphanage stayed up nonstop with him praying. God reminded her about something and she was able to give him electrolytes and lots of prayer. Look at that smile!  He's in perfect condition! Anytime I walk into the gate he comes running and giggling! I love him!  I am so excited for the opportunities that are opening up to get more involved in his life!

This picture isn't very clear.  I took a turn to sit with the car.  But I love the moment this captures! Karline and her daughter running out to meet Frantzy and Reginald . They were singing praises to Jesus and giggling the entire time. There isn't a more wonderful sound!

This is Karlene. She's pregnant with her second baby. She is due any time. Both dads have walked out on her, she can't work, and she's trying to take care of her daughter, herself, and her baby. It has been a blessing getting to know her and bless her with items God has blessed us with!  Anytime we bring stuff she stands and prays and sings to our awesome God! Such a blessing! :)

The guys get all fired up about working for The Lord! This is what keeps us going every day!
