"honesty". it's kind of a big deal.

As I've been praying and preparing my heart to move Haiti one thing keeps coming to mind.

Honesty.

Honesty in what?

Every single aspect of my life and ministry.

As I've gotten to know people who are in full-time ministry more, I've learned that they are under a microscope. The same mistake that you or I might be able to hide is one that could tear someones ministry apart. I'm learning that because of that, many people in full-time ministry positions put on a 'front'. They tell people that everything is perfect. Their life couldn't be any better, and they never ever struggle with living in a third-world country...in fact, it's the best thing that ever happened to them!

God has really laid it on my heart to be honest with all of the people who are praying for me. I'm 19 years old, and I'm moving to the third poorest country in the world. I know I'm going to struggle, I already am struggling. That doesn't mean I'm not doing what God has for me, it means that I'm totally human, and I can only accomplish the things that God has put me here for with His help.

So this is me, promising you guys that I will be completely honest. If I'm having an awesome week I'll probably post hysterical videos or tell how God is rocking my world, if I'm having a crappy week I'll be sure to let you know and then you will know how to pray. And please, please be sure to shoot me an email if I can be praying for any of you. I absolutely believe that we are all in this together and we should work together in encouraging each other and holding each other accountable.
